What to Expect on Kruger National Park 3 Days Safari

Our Johannesburg Safari starts with us will either pick you up from your hotel or guesthouse in Gauteng or from O. R. Tambo International Airport (JNB). We will travel through the beautiful meanders of Mpumalanga with breathtaking nature sightings and various rainfalls as we make our way to the game lodge in Hazy View Mpumalanga.

We will then check into our game lodge our next place to stay for the next 2 days. Dinner will be served later depending on our cuisine and we sit back and relax waiting for the next big day Safari.

 

Awaken at dawn and listen to the birds before driving out of camp hoping to find some of the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo).

Enjoy a hearty breakfast, then continue to a waterhole to see hippos, crocodiles, and birds before returning to your camp for a siesta or perhaps an afternoon swim.

We will leave the lodge at 5.00 Am to start looking for wildlife till late in the afternoon. We will stop at one of the restaurants inside the park to have some lunch and then continue tracking the wildlife that is our motive for the day.

Day 1 – Kruger National Park 3 Days Safari

Day 1 – Depart from Johannesburg to Hazy View via Road.

We will depart from Johannesburg around 7.00 am and travel by road via N12 and then N4. We will stop somewhere on our way to grab some coffee and stretch our legs.

We will then start driving towards Hazy View via N4 and R 40 roads and head straight to our check in into our pre – arranged accommodation at Protea Hazy View.

Our Journey from Johannesburg to Hazy view will take about 4 hours 30 Minutes on assumption there is no road works on N4.

Africa Moja Tours

Day 1 – Accommodation at Hazy View – 3 Star or 4 Star

We will check in into our Pre – booked accommodation in Hazy View which will be a 3 star of a 4 star for the night on our 3 Day Kruger National Park Tour.

We will then spend about 30 minutes doing the check – in Process and get comfortable in our new environment. The first part of our Kruger National Park 3 Days Safari will be an afternoon Kruger National Park Safari. Our first game drives will start around 1.30 pm via the Phabeni Gate. We will spend about 4 to 5 hours getting the best game viewing experiences from the Open Safari Vehicle.

Accommodation at Hazy View

Day 1 – 4 Hours Afternoon Kruger National Park Safari on Open Vehicle

After the Check in Process, we will head to the nearest gate which happens to be Paul Kruger Gate or Phabeni Gate to pay for our Kruger National Park Conservation fees and the Park management will need our details before entering the BIG 5 Kruger National Park.

After the Paperwork, we will now finally get an opportunity to come face to face with our opportunity for the BIG 5 on our afternoon Kruger National Park 3 Days Safari.

Elephants Kruger National Park

Day 1 – Lunch at Skukuza Camp

We will also get an opportunity to have Lunch at Cattle Baron Restaurant located inside the Kruger National Park on the shores of Sabie River with beautiful fauna and flora on the background.

After lunch we will continue to look for the BIG 5 and Small 5 and a host of other Mammals that are located on these expansive Park

After exploring the Park for about 4 hours we will head back to our accommodation at Hazy View. Dinner will be included on your package which is normally an un-forgettable African buffet

Day 2 – Kruger National Park 3 Days Safari

Day 2 – Kruger National Park Morning Safari

We will arise very early in the morning for our highly recommended full day Kruger National Park Safari at the Kruger National Park. We plan to get inside the Park around 6.00 am to ensure we get the best BIG 5 game sightings and see what the animals do from early morning to late afternoon.

These will be the best time to see the cats coming from their hunting missions and Hyenas coming from their Scavenging roles or the Mammals looking stranded early in the morning.

We will also have an opportunity to see the South African sun rise in a distance and get some wonderful animal sightings on our full day Kruger National Park Safari.

We will also have an opportunity to have Lunch at Baron Restaurant that is located on the banks of Sabie River which is found at Skukuza Camp located inside the Kruger National Park.

After lunch we will continue searching for wildlife and going to the water holes to get a glimpse wildlife going on with their daily jungle routine.

These will be our final Safari at the Kruger National Park 3 Days Safari. Later in the afternoon around 4 pm we will head back to our accommodation in get ready for our African buffet experience.

Our Kruger National Park 3 Days Safari comes to end and after breakfast we will check out around 10 pm and start making our way to Johannesburg. We will arrive in Johannesburg around 4 pm.

If you plan to travel to Cape Town, we can drop you at the airport and you can book a flight that departs around 6 pm for Cape Town.
