One of the most significant experiences in a lifetime. Two tours were booked with Africa Moja Tours – Cradle of Humankind and Kruger Safari. We were picked up from our hotel early, all our requests fulfilled, and our tours conducted with the most professional and courteous manner possible. We were returned not on a specific schedule, but as events permitted without and pressure. But that is expected.What is not expected is the kind of enthusiasm our tour guides provided that was obviously heartfelt and meaningful. When customer service is provided as part of a job, it is great and makes the experience so that one can enjoy it. The tour guides at Moja Africa Tours went above and beyond.We had two tour guides for the Cradle of Humankind, Tumi and Solley. We also had two tour guides for Kruger – Nic and Given. There’s a difference in customer service that can be detected but not measured. But it’s obvious. All our guides really wanted to do a good job and were good at their jobs. They took care of us, and we could tell. It was almost like a family member who cares for you – that’s how good it was. As in every complex operation, there’s issues. But, they handled the issues and resolved them quickly. They were very knowledgeable. Nic we named him the “professor” because his historical, factual, and technical knowledge was astounding. This is not to diminish the others as they were also very knowledgeable and efficient too.I have no idea whether other tour companies can match this performance because we only have participated with Africa Moja Tours. If there were 10 stars I would give this company that rating. My wife and I are forever grateful!

Verified Interesting fact filled tour with knowledgeable, accommodating and experienced tour guide and drivers
We had booked a Johannesburg tour with our guide, Thsolo , the day before and had such a good experience that we booked this tour for the next day. This tour can take ten passengers in a van, but only the two of us had booked so our driver picked us up from our B&B in a sedan which meant we could customize our visit. The highlights are the Voortrekker Monument with a marble frieze depicting the processes of settlement and the Museum at the Freedom Park Heritage Site. Our guide explained the stories depicted on the frieze inside the Monument and the background of the events and characters The museum at the Freedom Park is beautifully done and traces the development of the human race from the time of creation with the African perspective We could easily have spent the whole day there.

We had a great time with Africa Moja Tours! The accommodation was impeccable. The guides were funny and very professional. Our safari guide helped us spot animals from far away. The experience wouldn't have been the same without him. Even on the drive back, Isaac the driver generously shared many stories of his life that helped me get a deeper insight into his country and culture. Day One: Johannesburg
Get picked from your hotel in Johannesburg for Pretoria, Soweto and Apartheid Museum. We will drive down to Pretoria for to the Voortrekker Monument where we will put get to learn the beautiful Stories of the Afrikaaners and the rich history of the great trek.
We will drive through the beautiful City of Pretoria and pass by Church Square for some history about the square. We will then head to Union buildings for a photo shoot and also see the iconic statue of Nelson Mandela.
From there we head to Soweto where we will visit Hector Pieterson Museum, Mandela House before sampling Some Africa Delicacy. We wrap up things in the Apartheid Museum for a candid apartheid history.
Day Tow: Johannesburg
Depart your hotel to Cradle of Human Kind. The Cradle of Human Kind is about 47,000 hectares and is located about 50 kilometers from Johannesburg. It is one of the 8 Places in South Africa listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1999.
Whilst on this tour, you will visit various places including Sterkfontein Caves where the 2.3 million-year-old fossil Australopithecus africanus was unearthed in 1947.
The Maropeng Visitor center is a world-class exhibition that was opened in 2005 and focuses on the development of hominins.
Day Three: Cape Town
Get picked from your hotel in Cape Town and lets us take you on a Journey of the Peninsula. The full day Peninsula Tour will take you around the entire Cape peninsula and show you the wonders of Cape Town – from the pristine beaches to the spectacular sight of Cape Point, where the oceans meet. Also, be sure not to miss the sensational visit to Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens
Day Five: Cape Town
Over 1,200 wild animals can be seen on these day Safari, with a number of species including lion, cheetah, Black rhino, eland, leopard, jackal, Cape clawless otter and many more. Birdlife is equally prolific, with a number of local and migratory species to be found across the reserve.
Bird species you may encounter on this Cape Town safari include African fish eagle, black-breasted snake eagle, giant kingfisher, Cape vulture, Cape eagle owl, flamingo, ostrich, secretary bird, sacred ibis, spotted eagle owl, black stork, barn owl, and jackal buzzard to name just a few.
A game drive across the reserve is the perfect way to take on the plentiful game and bird life that can be found at the Private Game Reserve
