What to expect
Your day begins with an early morning pick-up at 05:00 from your accommodation in Johannesburg, Pretoria, or Sandton. You’ll be transferred to OR Tambo International Airport at 07:00 for a short flight to Kruger Mpumalanga Airport, arriving by 08:00. Upon landing, a guide will meet you and drive you for 45 minutes directly to Kruger National Park where you will arrive at 09:00.
Once inside the park, embark on an exhilarating game drive in an open safari vehicle, where you’ll have the chance to spot the Big Five—lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffalo—as well as an incredible variety of birds and other wildlife. With rivers, watering holes, and lush landscapes, Kruger offers the perfect setting for a day of discovery and adventure. Around noon, enjoy lunch at Skukuza Camp (at your own expense), a popular rest spot within the park.
After lunch, continue exploring Kruger Park Safari’s vast landscapes, tracking wildlife in their natural habitats. The safari wraps up around 15:00, when you’ll return to Kruger Mpumalanga Airport for your evening flight back to Johannesburg at 18:00. Upon arrival at OR Tambo at 19:00, a driver will be waiting to transfer you back to your accommodation, concluding your full day of adventure.
